WIWT, Blue Shorts

Hi guys,
just thought I'd share with you what I wore to the pub on Friday night!
It features my new DIY shorts :)

Here it is,
I teamed my shorts with some black tights, a cosy jumper and my black wedges which I love! Although I do want me feet to be a bit bigger so they are actually in proportion to my body!!

Shorts: DIY originally H&M
Jumper: H&M
Bandeau (not seen): New Look
Tights: Have no idea!
Wedges: A local shop called Studio

I also had in my hair a metal "hair band"

I say "hair band" beacuse it is actually a necklace or a bracelet that can be twisted to make any shape. So I thought I'd try it out as a hair accessory.

hope you all had a lovely weekend

Do you think I’m wasting my time, doing things I wanna do?

Its been aaages since I last posted, or it feels like it anyway.
I've been so busy with my new placement that I've not had chance for anything else
This past week has been a busy old week, and to top it off I'm struggling with doing my essay :( waaaaaaaaaaaaa
anyway to celebrate my reaching the 1000 word mark I thought I'd do an outfit post.
Today I am wearing...

New Look Top - recycled from my friend wardrobe
it has lace sleeves and a lace panel at the back absolute find I say!
Next High waisted shorts - my trusty faves to fall back on, I have rolled them up further than usual today tho, I am feeling daring!

Tights , not sure where from... just bog standard black tights
Clock necklace - matalan aaaaaaaages ago, I forgot I had it, perfect but it doesn't tell me the right time!
Red Lips - courtesy of Barry M Lip Lacquer in No.1, with a splodge of vaseline on the top, and then a good dollop of gosh eyeshadow dust in shade - "fox".. It creates a gorgeous matte appearance to any colour!
try it with Barry M dazzle dusts too!

DIY + Charity Shop =

I've been meaning to post this for a while, I bought this gorgeous skirt from a charity shop the other week, and I had an idea of the top I wanted to wear it with.
I bought this bandeau from New Look for £3.99 and thought it looked lovely with the skirt.
Now I don't like showing my belly off as a rule, and I am a big fan of tassles, so off I went to the local haberdashery store (Boyes up here in the North of England) and bought some black tassle.
I stitched it onto the bottom of the bandeau and...!

What do you guys think?
